Our Philosophy
Dream Academy stands on the foundation of Academics, STEAM Based Learning and Athletics. Our goal is to "Empower Young Children to be Leaders of Tomorrow".
We believe all children deserve an education that is both fair and equitable that takes place in a safe, nurturing environment. Our preschool program is designed to provide scholars with learning experiences that embody preparation for life beyond school.

Assistant Principal
While serving in her various roles for Shelby County Schools and the Aspire School District, Alex has developed a lens for quality education and understands firsthand what it entails. Having obtained a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Education Administration, her formal education coupled with her work experience, give her the skills to provide a quality learning environment where young children will thrive, grow and succeed.
Alex is a member of the NAEYC and the NAFCC. She is also a devoted mother and wife and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.
Curriculum
Our curriculum integrates academics with a heavy emphasis on Literacy, Math, STEAM based activities and Sports. This will allow us to challenge our scholars as we promote growth, development, creativity and critical thinking skills.
Understanding that a scholars success can be impacted by family involvement, it is our sincerest desire to include the family into our curriculum. We will offer quarterly community service activities as well as Parents/Family Night out activities. Our holistic family approach is what makes us who we are.

Our approach includes sports as a learning tool. We will have our scholars participate in monthly sports clinics designed to introduce them to the fundamentals of the chosen sports as well as teach them teamwork and sportsmanship.
